What is the Klingentrail?

The Klingentrail is a 1.2-kilometer-long MTB course that is suitable for professionals and beginners. From the Bärenloch, the signposted course leads through steep and winding passages through dense deciduous forest towards the valley.

The 96-meter-long “Bergische Aufwärmrunde” begins on the top of the Bärenberg - the practice course for beginners and children. Professionals use it for a quick warm-up before the first descent. The blue main line also starts here, which is characterized by steep curves and jump hills. It also includes a few small “tables”.

In the middle section, experienced mountain bikers can turn onto the red S-Line or the black Skyhigh Line. However, this requires a secure jumping technique, as medium jumps and larger gaps await the riders. The red jump line offers five jumps, the black one four.
Parallel to the red and black descents is the yellow marked Wupphill ascent. The Klingentrail is unique in the Bergisches Land. There is nothing of equal quality in the region.
