Since August 2023, the Bärenloch has been extensively remodeled and expanded until May 2024. Among other things, many new play and leisure activities have been added.

Bärenwoche 2024

The “Bärenwoche” is an open offer for children and young people.

It traditionally takes place in the first week of the summer holidays from Monday to Friday. This year, for the first time, there will also be an evening program for young people.

There are several portable toilets available at the beach playground.
Where can I park?

If you want to come to the Bärenloch and come by car, you can park at the Cronenbergerstr. car park . There is also a car park at Kohlfuhrt. There are also parking spaces at the Bimerich entrance . You can find all entrances and parking spaceshere .
Where can I report any defects that I notice?

If you have noticed a defect in the Bärenloch, such as a broken piece of playground equipment, you can do so either in the Solingen app or on this website: service.solingen.de .
Are there any offers for smaller children?

Even smaller children are welcome at the Bärenloch! The playground at the Bimerich entrance is suitable. The climbing pirate ship is also perfect for playing. There are also four new play stations at intervals throughout the complex, which make it easier to get to the next attraction.
Is there a winter service?

No, the Bärenloch is not gritted or swept.
Where can I do sports in the Bärenloch?

The calisthenics facility (for workouts) on the outdoor fitness area is ideal for sporting activities. The 24,000 square meter facility is also ideal for jogging. A ride on the pump track is great fun for mountain bikers, skaters or scooter riders.
